We left on Friday the 16th for Iowa. We planned to go about 8 hrs and stop for the night. Ethan did great, and slept most of the time. When we got to our stopping point though, the hotel didn't have any cribs and it was still early so we decided to just go all the way to Ames. This proved to be a bit more difficult than we thought. Ethan screamed for about an hour and we were screaming on the inside. Once we got there we were happy to be done with the journey. Ethan met his cousins and loved watching them play.

He also met Aunt Kim and Aunt Corinne.

Aunt Kim couldn't let him finish his nap before holding him. I went in and got him out of the pack and play so she could snuggle him.

Our cousin Michelle came down from Chicago with all her kids too. We hadn't all been together since my wedding.
